Digital Portfolio
Lesson Summary
Students will create a digital portfolio (using Word, Google Doc, or PowerPoint) of the course. Students will add contents to the portfolio on weekly basis, and submit it via email for grading. At the end of each semester, the whole portfolio will be assessed and evaluated.
Objective(s) 1. Students will learn to use Word and/or PowerPoint to create digital portfolio., 2. Students will learn to use Mathtype to write and edit mathematical expressions., 3. Students will create a digital portfolio that reflects understanding of the course material.,
NETS:

Technology Tools Email, Word Processing, Presentation Software, Internet Research.
Procedures - 1. Students will download Word file from the teacher's website that contains the weekly prompt (mathematical questions, discussion topic, research topic, etc.), 2. Students will answer the weekly prompt using the Internet research and skills they learned through the week. Students will add each prompt and answers to their digital portfolio., 3. Students will email the teacher their digital portfolio on weekly basis.,
Assessment Digital Portfolio will be assessed on weekly basis.
