Colonial Brochure Project

In groups of four, students will create a Colonial Brochure. Each group will be given a specific colony where they have to construct a brochure that will entice English citizens to come to their respective colony.

Procedures - 1. Assign groups and colonies.Directions of the Colony Brochure Project with rubric., 2. In library, go over acceptable use policy and provide information on how to effectively navigate historical websites. In addition, provide sample brochures., 3. Students conduct research and create brochure. , 4. Monitor progress and provide feedback where needed. Gallery walk to share brochures with the rest of class.
