Using the computer based repair manual

Students will use the computer to access information on all aspects of vechile repair. Look up spec. and service information. Print the required information and use it to complete a repair procedure.
Objective(s) 1. Access information from supplied software relating to the repair of a vechile., 2. Use the information to do the repairs on a vechile., 3. Print and refer to the information at a later time.( At the shop stall), 4. Gather specs. and information that can be used in the repair process

Procedures - 1. Locate software on the computer. Access the vechile information, 2. Locate the repair needed and print any pictures or specs. that will help with the repair process, 3. Gather tools and equipment needed for repair. Complete repair procedure., 4. Check to see if the repair solved the problem.
Assessment Visual, Does the vechile perform correctly. Was the repair done in a timely manor.
