Students will: learn that the Constitution was written to be a flexible document that would promote representative democracy through separation of powers and checks and balances. Using an overhead projector showing the content vocabulary words, students will create two columns seperating words under Constitution and The Three Branches of Government. Also a graphic organizer word web is shown on the overhead to have student participate in deciding what words in the chapter relate to the word Constitution; student fill out the work sheet.

Procedures - 1. Online forms were created to compliment the lesson. Crossword Puzzle covering the chapter content vocabulary words, word web used for the word Constitution, where students have to come up with words related to the Constitution in the chapter andvarious activity worksheets to extend the lesson.,
