Students will demonstrate technology proficiency through the research of a mathematicain. This includes, but not limited to, Word document, on-line research, email, and a Power Point Presentation.
Objective(s) 1. The students will identify the mathematical contribution(s) of a well known mathematician. , 2. The student will research how the mathematician's contribution is used in the real world. ,

Technology Tools Internet Research, Email, Presentation Software, Publication Software
Procedures - 1. Students will select a mathematician from a list provided by the teacher., 2. Student will research on the internet the assigned mathematican, using the provided links. Include and cite one source not provided., 3. Students will write a short bibliography that includes the life contributions and where we will see these contributions used in the real world and site all sources. Email completed document., 4. Create a Power Point Presentation; import images and links.
