In this lesson students will create a design for fabric. The design will show students' creativity and understanding of cultural influence. After creating the design, they will draw how the design will appear on a garment and write a story about the person who might wear the garment.
Objective(s) 1. The student will create a design for fabric using Easy Draw software. , 2. The student will research ethic influence then organize, anyalyze, evaluate, and synthesize information for power point presentation., 3. The student will practice safe use of information and technology., 4. The student will apply existing knowledge to generate writing.

RESEARCH AND INFORMATION FLUENCY: locate, organize, analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and ethically use information from a variety of sources and media.

Technology Tools Google Docs, Presentation Software, Web Design, Word Processing
Procedures - 1. Student will find inspiration for design using Google docs., 2. Student will research cultural influence of design using the web., 3. Student will create a story about individual who will wear design, where design might be purchased, and prince points for design. , 4. Student will create power point presentation for the class to see, and post results on gmail.
Assessment Present completed design that is applied to a garment. Write a description of individual wearing design.
